Anita Goyal has has been unveiled as host for the upcoming Leading Women in Care Awards (LWIC) 2026
Goyal is an award-winning philanthropist, author and community champion, celebrated for her services to diversity and female empowerment.
As the vice president of Barnardo’s, ambassador of the Alzheimer’s Society and chair and trustee of both The Hemraj Goyal Foundation and the Hallmark Foundation, Anita Goyal brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the event.
In 2021, she was awarded an MBE for services to diversity and female empowerment, including her life-changing work tackling female genital mutilation, menstrual discrimination, and human trafficking.
Goyal is the author of charity book Voices From Punjab, Chair of the Hermraj Goyal Foundation, an Ambassador of the Alzheimer’s Society, and trustee of the Hallmark Care Homes Foundation. A former teacher of 20 years, Goyal is also founder of Enrichment Experiences in Education, introducing personal development and crucial life skills training in UK schools.
