Ram Goyal was the first in his family to attend university, graduating from the University of Bath in 1983 with a degree in Economics. He joined the family business shortly after, helping expand it from a chain of high-street newsagents into a diverse portfolio including property and care homes.

As a key figure in Hallmark Care Homes’ growth, Ram has contributed to financial strategy, team development, and the building of long-term, values-based partnerships. His expertise spans finance, property development, and organisational leadership.

Ram is also the founder of Human Kind, a charity tackling loneliness, dementia inclusion, and food poverty through an innovative pay-it-forward cafe model. He is passionate about ageing well and creating resilient communities.

A long-time supporter of Go Dharmic, he has aided food distribution and disaster relief worldwide. Ram brings strategic insight, financial acumen, and a deep commitment to social impact to all that he does.
