Vincent Buscemi

Vincent brings three decades of hands-on experience in health and social care to his role as a Trustee of the Foundation. Beginning his career as a care-home operator, Vincent developed practical insight into the day-to-day challenges and opportunities of delivering compassionate, high-quality care. This firsthand experience continues to inform his approach to policy, governance and service improvement.
After moving into law, Vincent specialised in commercial health and social care and now serves as a partner and Head of Independent Health and Care at Bevan Britain. In that role, Vincent advises providers, investors and stakeholders across the sector on regulatory, commercial and governance matters, bringing a pragmatic and strategic perspective shaped by both operational and legal experience.
Vincent’s passion for care is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to age well, feel safe and be supported, not just those using care services, but their families and friends too. Vincent is a strong advocate for health, wellness and wellbeing, and views longevity through the lens of healthspan as much as lifespan.
Aligned with the Foundation’s values, Vincent is committed to driving progress in care through research, innovation and education. Vincent believes this combination is essential to creating a thriving, sustainable, and high-quality system of care for present and future generations.
